Today was pretty cool. I did a besieged, all the generals died. And we still managed to win! Lv5 Trolls. 'course I had to crash just before we won, so I didn't get any points.

Then it was off to free some generals! After hunting around for keys, our group managed to rescue Raj, Gadalar, and Zazarg. Gadalar and Zazarg were in the area where stuff has truesight, which was fun to discover for the first time. Firemyst and I were the only ones who actually made it to Zazarg and Gadalar first because we actually knew where we were going and didn't feel like killing random mobs on the wrong side of the zone which made aggroing the truesight mobs even more fun! We had 2 trolls on us, we slept them, and kept on moving. There was another troll guarding both generals which aggro'd me (truesight again). We slept it, and I had to think fast. I had 2 generals and only one key. I had to think long and hard about what to do. It took me a good 20 seconds or so to finally decide what I was going to do after freeing Zazarg before the undead attacked.

What? You thought I had to think long and hard about which general to save? HA! ^^

I went and talked to Zazarg once I got back and he gave me a ??? box for saving him. Too bad it turned out to only be a Hi Pot+1 ^^;

Almost immediately after we got the other person with a key down to save Gadalar the undead swarm arrived in Al Zahbi. All the generals died... except Gadalar (OMGWTFBBQ?!) and Zazarg ^^

Well, my efforts to get to DRK37 so far have gone pretty well. Did a bunch of partying in Valk today and got DRK 13~17 with no deaths :) I'm almost having what could be considered 'fun' doing this too!

So yeah, today was good, but it sucked.

I logged in, did some stuff. Got in a party with a friend of mine that lasted for quite a while and was awsome exp (in the end, I'm now less then 6k to 72). But around 3:30~4:00 my video went weird, then my computer locked up. Was still getting the weird video errors on the screen in the BIOS screen before XP kicks in. Did some additional testing and yeah, my video card in my desktop is toast. Fortunately I was able to jump on my laptop and finish out the party (though I had to re-do all my macros since I haven't updated my laptop's macros in forever, need to get my settings off my desktop so that I can get my color scheme on my laptop). Then at 5 I joined up with Merlee and company to do ZM6&7.

So it was a good day, but it was a bad day at the same time.

Yay! Xal, Salsachip, and I did Dynamis - Bastok tonight! I didn't get any RDM AF2 stuffs... but I did get a pair of Wyrm Brias (DRG lv71 AF2). None of the DRG that are/were in LuckyStrike went and I had the highest lvl DRG in there so I got them. Now I need to go lvling DRG more so I can use it...

So.... yeah.... I decided to try and fight Maat... He doesn't fight fair... Needless to see I got my ass handed to me... 3 times... The first and third battles I did were about the same, almost beat him, then he ran across the room and pounded my skull in with Asuran Fists, the only real difference is the 3rd battle cost me 39.5k more than the first since I used a Vile Elixir. The second battle doesn't really count since he cast Blink at the start and I died within 20 seconds. Needless to say I'm just a little annoyed.

This was my first battle, I didn't record the others.

Danakate > Thanks so much for these vids! I went with a group that was WAR/MNK (me), WAR/NIN, and WHM/BLM and we totally blew everything away. We went 7 times, broke the server record, then broke our own record 2 more times (4min17sec was our fastest). We even got Utsu:Ni and Erase! Once I decide where I'm going to put them, I'll post videos of me(DRG), Fireyst(DRG), and Golddess(WHM) doing the Royal Jelly BCNM. Unfortunately, my machine kinda bogs down while recording, even with fraps set to 15fps, half-size for the recording, but it's still decent. It comes complete with Sylf's techno stuff as background!
