New - Nyzul Isle Assault Rules:

1) We're going to prioritize climbing first and farming second, unless it's a "kill all floor" or we're rolling in time, pretend the NMs don't exist.
2) In order to expedite the Nyzul Armor lotting I'm going to implement the following system.
a) Every one has 50 "points".
b) Please go through the 15 Nyzul armor pieces and assign a "point value" as to how much you want any piece up to a total of "50"
c) Email me a list/table/whatever of your point allocations.
d) The only point reallocation would be if you were to go out and get one of the items you bid for in a pick up, I will redistribute the points based on the weight of the original bids. [Ex. askar helm/body/hands bid 20/20/10, get hands in pick up. So now revised bid would be body/hands 25/25]
e) The goal of farming will be to try to get people their top 2 items.
f) p.s. if you kind of want something and don't want it to go free lot you can bid 1 and hope no one else does the same
3) Other drops:
a) weapons are free lot.
b) anything under 60k is free lot.
c) above 60k we will go ahead and sell and split the profits. Unless someone wants to "buy it" from the group. Then I propose they pay each party member (80%)*(1/6) of the AH price for keeping it.
d) for the RA/EX junk, listed below, everyone choose 1st->3rd choice items and lotting will be in that order. So ra/ex items only free lot if no one chose it.

well same old strat really. just writing it down since it's neither strat 1 or 2.

Hakhi: brd/whm
Miya: blu/nin

Important points:
1) Everyone needs antidotes and holy water (especially melees).
2) Melees need to sort of stand towards the front. And probably stand together because it's not like any of the effects are cones anyways.
3) After trembling recast Utsu even if shadows still up!

Miya: solo chain Light
Ebin: Burst all over chain.
Zoof: Phalanx 2 & Haste loth, Slow 2, Chainspell Stun as needed.

Better than One strategy:
Loth - NIN/WAR
Siv - WAR/THF
Ebin - DRK/THF
Hakhi - BRD/BLM
Zoof - RDM/DRK

Loth tanks Cerberus's butt. Does not melee. needs high def stuff (jelly ring, boxer mantle, tacos, etc.)
Siv SA/TA onto Loth. G.Axe prolly best for TP reasons.
Ebin SA/TA onto Loth. Main Stun for Gates of Hades.
Hakhi - Troubador Elemental Seal Elegy, buff people with march. When elementals pop agro them all and run like hell for start.
Zoof - Refresh people, debuff cerberus (especially slow 2), phalanx loth, help cure. chainspell stun towards the end (<10%) if needed.
Miya - keep people alive. Barfira the melees. Barblizarra mages.

When starting the fight mages need to run *past* cerberus so that pulling elementals is easier later.
Melees stand to the side of cerberus when getting TP, and move for the SA/TA. Possibly 2hr when the elementals are up to get to the next howl faster.
Mages do NOT cast until elementals are kited away.
Save WSs when cerberus is near a "howl" (every 25% HP) and the elementals are not up.
When elementals are up, do as much damage as quickly as possible.

Loth kites in a circle and stops when melees call for SCs.
Siv in charge of getting hate on Doppelgangers, pull to center of circle. needs to use G.Axe so we can do chains.

Raging Rush -> Gekko = Fragmentation
Yuki -> Raging Rush -> Kasha = Light

Mages: live in center of kite circle.
Ebin Poison 2, Stun. burst thunder 3/4, thundaga 3 on chains. on both if possible for the light.

Quick Survey to Assault members:

If I proposed we meet one extra time during the week for 1 or more assaults, so that we can move up to getting one rank a week would people be opposed.

The reason I'm asking is, after our *stunning* series of clears yesterday, we are basically down to 2 miscellaneous assaults, and everything else is at the rank of our lowest members.
For example, next week if we do uniques we *have to * do CS level ones, so if people don't finish the quest we will have to do repeats or, other.

There are a few solutions of which I'm sure people would be interested in the first:
1) Go at the current pace and do more Nyzuls. (we will get captain in ~ 6-7 weeks)
2) Go at the current pace but have people do rank up missions as soon as they get it. This would not be rediculous because SL quest while time consuming in CSs, does not have game day waits. (we will get captain in 5 weeks).
3) We could up our meeting time to twice a week. If we manage to do 1-2 assaults on our extra days, we will be done with captain in 3 weeks.

Of course the whole thing would be based on our clearing on our first try, and that's what the count implies... If we have to redo any of them that goes back to throwing off the count.

I'm basically just throwing this out there for people to think about. We probably wouldn't start doing 2 a week until after we regroup post-christmas unless people want to get SL before we break for 3 weeks.

The upcoming holidays (the weekend before Christmas through the weekend after Christmas) will be super-busy for me. Other than that, I should be available for anything.
