So I've been away from Vana'diel for all intents and purposes for quite some time, and I'd been thinking, "When I come back, I'd sure love to get a group together to curse Tzee Xicu the Manifest." See, I checked the High Priest and the Avatar off my list a long time ago, but Ms. Xicu had always eluded me.

I tucked this thought in a back corner of my tiny little brain, and set about helping various friends do various things, and then I found myself in Castle Oztroja with Phht and Merton. Right there in Yagudo High Priest territory. I was just minding my own business, sneaking behind some truesight yag or another, when I noticed that something was a little off with Phht. Namely, that his HP was dropping quite rapidly. And then I heard this:

Tzee Xicu the Manifest: You are not here as sacrifices, are you? Could you possibly be committing this affront in the face of a deity? Very well, I will personally mete out your divine punishment! Kyah!

O SHI.

Well, Phht died and reraised, then I saw Merton dancing with some other yag. I forgot I was a wussy bard and went over to help him, and very shortly thereafter I was dead and deleveled to 74. I mentioned on FI that Tzee Xicu was killing us all, and also mentioned this to Nimbex. As my raise timer counted down to 2 minutes, an amazing number of people converged on Castle Oztroja to take down the Yagudo god.

The fight itself went like this: Tzee Xicu got pulled, and then we killed her. She did not drop a staff, but we got shiny new titles. And now I can cross off a goal I've had for almost 5 years in Vana'diel. :D :D :D

It was 4 a.m. on Darksday when Linmayu disembarked from the airship in Port Windurst and began walking towards the residential area. Despite the fact that she had lived in Windurst almost all her life, she felt like she was returning from another world, and had to look around for more than a few moments to make sure she was in the right place.

Her feet carried her towards her Mog House, and she fumbled around in her justaucorps pocket for the keys. Had it really been that long? She opened the door and was momentarily blinded by the light. Strange. Had she left it on? More likely, someone was up to some kind of immorality in her apartment. She reached for her Destroyers, but found only a Terra's Staff, and cursed.

"Is that any way to greet your beloved sister?" came a cheerful voice from inside.

"Wintermoon, what the fuck are you doing in my Mog House?"

"Cleaning. It's not like you ever do...oh, ok, I came to borrow your Kirin's Osode...and I don't suppose you'd mind lending me the Scorpion Harness +1 too?" she asked as she undressed the Galka mannequin.

"What are you going to wear that for? Going to Dynamis as a level 75 ballista mom? Get out of here."

"Fine, I'll just take the Galka. Where were you this past month anyway? You told me you'd help with promoting the Galka Fest. I tried to recruit Nimbex while you were gone but he just shook his tiny little great katana at me and said 'Claw claw bite!'"

Linmayu didn't recall having agreed to any such thing, so she began unpacking without answering her sister's question. "Wait, what the fuck?" asked Wintermoon. "Since when do you fish?"

Linmayu froze and looked down at the item she'd just pulled out of her gobbiebag, an old composite fishing rod. Fuck, she'd been careless. "I don't."

"I haven't seen that thing since..." Wintermoon's eyes grew wide and she grinned. "So THAT's where you were! Not that I blame you, of course. Living in San d'Oria, I've seen how many Tarutaru go to visit Ebin at night..."

"I'll trust you to mention this to no one," said the tall Elvaan, signaling her moogle to change her to Monk. She'd be weaponless and ill-equipped, but still sufficiently threatening.

Wintermoon wasn't intimidated. She looked at the fierce level 75 monk standing before her and saw a dorky 12-year-old Elvaan girl with no pants on. "Oh, don't get so bent out of shape! We all do it. So...how is he?"

"The same as he ever was." Linmayu sighed. "Listen, I'm not in the mood to satisfy your perverse mind with the details. I'm going to bed."

"Um, you might not want--" Wintermoon started, but was interrupted by a loud stream of expletives from behind the tarutaru folding screen. "I meant to mention that your friend Nauthima seems to be a little upset with you..."

You suck Galka balls. I don't know what you've been doing all these months, but you can't have been up to anything good. You say you're working on your Bard skills but I've heard your latest album, "Ballads For Nimbex (but not for Chesh)," and honestly it leaves much to be desired. "Colibri" doesn't rhyme with "dance with me," nor does "Eruca" rhyme with "eat a fat dick." I guess they really will let *anyone* be an international pop star in Vana'diel these days.

Your mom has been making me do stuff like going all the way to San d'Oria to buy corn from Antonian. Your dad keeps trying to tell me about how good things were back in 963. And as for the rest of your family, I'm not sure why they decided I'd be a good person to advertise for "Ghosty's Galka Fest" in Bastok Mines.

So, I have a WHM sub that's at least 4 levels too low, a set of WHM gear taking up too much space in my Mog Safe, and at least 2 friends with jobs of a similar level. Anyone want to join the party? I'd like to go to 42 for a full set of teleports, and I think Nimbex might want to go to 45 for TH2. Here's who we have so far:

Linmayu WHM33
Nimbex THF35
Mirrsie DRG34 (i think)

Ebin > Depending on when you plan to do this, I'd like to get my rdm up there. It is lvl 29 right now. I'd only want to take that to 37 most likely. Have WAR at 39 when you get there. Nimbex > If I'm the high person in the list, I guess 33-35 is the ideal range, but BLM32 is close. And, for once, Miyasha, you could throw all the Anniversary Rings, Memoirs, and Empress Bands you want at it. Of course, you could also get a level or two with randoms and get to 33 or 34!
