I guess this is one of those cases where the third time's the charm ^^. After some bad luck on our first two attempts (lots of death from the BLU), our third attempt went off almost without a hitch. We were able to get through all 3 BLU forms without any death, but we had a wipe from Divine judgement once we had Alexander down to ~48%. The 10 minute warning popped up just as we finished resting/curing off weakness, so we decided to go all out on it's tin butt. Phht got the killshot in a bit after we saw the 5 min warning go by. Other than that wipe (which we were able to recover from without incident), the entire fight was flawless.. everyone knew what to do, and the stun order worked perfectly. All in all, an exciting fight, some wonderful cutscenes, and I'm just glad that it's all finally over ^^.

Good job and wonderful teamwork going out to Phht, Lothiriel, Treasa, Drexel, and Zoofster... and Congratulations :3

I'm finally able to wear my full BLU AF set now, thanks to the wonderful birdy-pt we had yesterday (which also included two sets of double-dings). I also managed to clear "A Manifest Problem" on Saturday, and literally fell out of my chair laughing at the resulting cutscenes for "When One Man Is Not Enough". The upcoming fight looks to be a royal pain in the tail, but we'll see what happens, neh? :3

Hehe, after all these years of playing Miya I've finally hit 75THF :3. Even with the difficulties I'm now in, I'm enjoying that there is still good stuff happenin'. Next job up for 75 is looking to be BLU, but we'll just have to see what happens.

On a side note, I might have to suspend my acct soon, but I am hoping to avoid that situation :/.

Not a bad day in game :3. Got my BLU to 51 (50, almost 51 in static, 3 Ops to top it off), almost capped my BLU skill in beseiged, and solo'd my AF2 fight. Hardest part of that was getting to it through the TrueSight/TrueHearing Wamouras...that, and the stupid Flan decided to deny its death with a Sleepga at the last sliver of life... >.> Just wish the events irl last night were better...

I'm surprised at how much mission progress I've actually made over this past week. I've hit Sandy Rank 7, CoP 3-5, and TAU44...with the TAU42 and CoP 2-5 fights in the same evening.

Sunday: TAU42 got off to a bit of a rough start...ok, off to a few rough starts...but we managed to pull it off without a hitch on the 4th run. The mammet fight was just annoying. We wiped on the first run, and /barely/ made it through the second one. It was pretty much down to me (whm) and the blm alternating resting and curing the remaining tank (the kites were dead by this point), but the last mammet went down with just over 3 min left on the clock.

Yesterday: I had run all of the 3-3 CS's after the fight the previous night, so all that was left was the 2 NM fights. I had help from a couple of friends on the Morbol, and then I decided to try my luck w/ soloing the Antlion...let's just say it didn't quite go according to plan.. For attempt #1, I was on whm/blm and my strategy was to keep the sucker rooted to the spot with Bind, then Flash when he unbound and started to run. for a while that worked, but after the 3rd-4th fullheal, I had crap for mp remaining. He despawned while I was resting back up, and so I warped back home and changed my sub to /rdm (Thanks go to Lin for the pt where I get it up to SJ lvl :3). On my second attempt, I changed my strat from Bind/Flash to Bind/Gravity/Flash with as much nuking as my timers allowed. It went..better.. I managed to get the critter down to about 5% when both Gravity and Bind wore at the same time (I had about 150MP at this point) and it got back to its sandbox, I was not a happy kitty. I decided to keep going and just melee'd the crap out of it. I popped Regen III a couple of times, but I saved the rest of my /slowly/ refreshing mp for Bind/Gravity. With ~20% health, and one last Hexa-Strike, Mr. Doodlebug went down for the count >:3. On a more positive note, I was able to prove to myself that I still do not suck at climbing (tho that one tricky ramp is /really/ annoying).

Like I said.. I've been a busy kitty (tho I still would have liked to have put a couple of lvls on brd >.<.. :D), and we'll see what the future holds..

I am really enjoying these campaign battles, i've even managed to lvl thf from 63- 68 on this stuff alone. I do have to say one thing tho... don't piss off the NM's ; ;. I ticked off the Deathlord in Jugner (S) a few days ago and got my headquarters slam dunked into my hindquarters. The screencap I took says it all X3. Still, it's decent xp that I don't have to sit around flagged for invite to get.

Well I did it, and I still don't quite believe it... I got my WHM Testimony this evening (Gobbie Alchemists in Cape Terrigan), and I made the decision to take on Maat. After assembling a new gear setup (and purchasing/synthing a fair number of meds), I waited til nightfall and traded in my test. I buffed, rested, ate, and tapped Maat on the shoulder to hit it off. I can say I was lucky that he didn't try to use Asuran Fists on me, but I can also say I was running around that burning circle like a centipede caught in a jar X3. I was Para'd (only once), Slowed, Dia II'd, Flashed (no, you don't want that image...), Holy'd, Banishga II'd, but I managed to stay out of the red.

Long story short, my last limit break is done and over with... Now, who's up for a nice rousing game of Kick-da-Gobbie :3.

Well, it doesn't look as though I'll be stealing my way through my Maat fight afterall...more like healing my way through the fight :D. By the end of next week's static, WHM will become my highest job (@62 :3). With a character creation date of 2003/11/04 (almost 4 years...I'm an old kitty), I believe I have a chance at the award for Slowest Leveled Character (main, active character), as per our conversation in party chat last night :D. Now to get some Assaulting out of the way so that I can get a decent Sanction duration >.< ...amongst other things. Oh, and only 2 deaths this time...I think I'm getting better at raising the unfortunate before battle ends, time will tell ;3.
