So...over the past few weeks i've gotten BLU, BLM, and SMN eligible for AF weapons..

tonight, i did all three quests :)

maybe in the next year one of the 3 will be in full AF :)

I had a parser running..its my first time running one so the columns are still kinda silly...but the data's there.

I also might have missed a couple of fights of data, as my habit of closing unused windows kept making me close the parser.

So its been a really really long time since i've posted...

Lets see.. what have I done, actually quite a bit.

I now have DRK45 :) 5 more levels till G1 ^_^ getting excited :)

Alchemy and Smithing are coming along...though i'm focusing on Alchemy... Almost to the prism powders!

Haven't done much in the world of quests/missions. Still need to accomplish a promy-holla a successful promy-holla run. I've been holding off for a number of FI recruits to get ready and then help out with their runs, and get in on the holla run for myself.

I'm hoping to be 50 by the end of the month. We'll see how it goes. I basically don't level except for weekends where i can devote the massive time slots to it and not get pulled away too often. Weeknights are becoming more and more hectic.

So i've successfully leveled BLM to 17 for warp. It wasn't too horrible a task.

Now onto the Selbina Clay quest...then back to DRK :P

so over the past few days i've taken to leveling dark again.

I find that its not the leveling that i hate, but the hours wasted seeking or spent in crap partys that get a few kills/hour

Tonight started out to be horrible..the party had 4 deaths in a span of 3 fights... then a couple of people cycled out (namely the puller) and we got some new people and a very good party developed. Fights still took a while (was able to SA 2-3 times per fight) but no one came anywhere close to dying for the rest of the night.

overall i got about 10k xp in about 5 hours.. 2k/hr.. not too bad. its still progress. I've gone from 32-35 in 3 days? one night went from 32-34 and tonight was 34-35 so i'm happy.

Tonight was also the first time i've been into the crawler's nest. I now need to spend many hours working the selbina clay quest in order to get that damned map :p

So after frantically trying to get Goldsmithing to lvl 28 so i could turn in my hairpin last night. I ran out of supplies with .2 left to go. So i had to wait till today. (had 400g left in my coffers while AH stuff was trying to sell)

Today i get in, make a silver chain.. got no skill up (was sad) Then took the other two chains i still had, added the third, and made a chain gorget. BOOM! +.3 skillup LEVEL UP 28 *jumps estatically* I haven't seen a +.3 in a long while.. Normally .1 and .2's (lots of .2's) but i hurriedly turned in my hairpin for Novice Ranking, and can get guild points. Hurray Me :D


Next I'm going to take Smithing to 30. I've got the chain worked out, I'm guessing It will be just as expensive as goldsmithing, but I hope mining will take care of a decent portion of it. Unlike goldsmithing where i seemed to always mine iron ore, now with my luck i'll always mine silver... though at least i can synth it and sell it :D

In final news. I leveled thf in an all LS party tonight :P well and all FI shell party. It was awesome, unfortunately one member died.. only once though :) So everything went well.. Looking forward to doing it again tomorrow :D
Ailuren > Congrats! Goldsmithing is not cheap to level, that's a big part of why I haven't leveled it at all. And wasn't the party last night awesome? Despite Barahir's death, he still got more levels than anyone else, so that's good. I think things will go smoother tonight thanks to everyone being higher level. We went in a mite underpowered, which is fine, we got past that pretty darn quick. :) (09/23 06:37)

Knowing that i'm going to be working on goldsmithing, and thus Brass items. I need zinc ore.

If anyone happens to aquire some that they don't need please send them my way. If worse comes to worse i'll mine it... at least the iron i get from the mines pays for the picks.

So tonight i took goldsmithing from lvl 7 and got it to lvl 12.3 PLUS i obtained the Recruit rank.

Its so weird seeing something other than amateur on the list.

I'm looking to using the Brass items to get it to 19.. i think thats the cap of the last brass item...which then means i'd need to switch to something else.

I'd like to get it into the 30's so that i could be someone useful. I noticed that the guild people are giving me recipes for different jewels. So maybe i can start making perhaps rings and other goodies.

I was quite happy and what little materials i used for this leveling. Mined enough zinc ore to get just under 2 stacks of brass ingots, which i turned into sheets, and then scales.. it worked quite nicely. I failed synths about 7 times and only 1 of those times i actually lost an item... and on most i kept getting .2 skill.


on the second front i made a new mule. and as such have now offically began a trend with my mules. As this second one takes its name from the Dragonlance realm of writings.

So Silvanoshei has now been brought into our world. I'll post pics if i remember to take them :P

so over the past several days, i've been increasing the size of my gil coffers by synthing and selling stacks of copper ingots. They don't get a dramatic selling price (13k) but even with purchasing all of the products required (fire crystal, and 4 copper ore) you can make 100% profit on them depending on prices. Mainly i get jeuno crystal stacks for 6k, and it costs 11gil each for the copper ore at the bastok airship dock. all said i spend about 6700 on a stack which sells for 13k. thats nearly a 100% profit boost. Thats making money :) occasionally because i'm a noob synther i do have some crystal shattering going on. but in the many stacks (probably about 20 now) I've had a combined 1 stack fail (i actually think its under a stack) so i'd say thats pretty good for someone who's goldsmithing skills are at lvl 7 :P

after i get rid of my last few stacks or ingots i'll be dedicating myself to getting thf to lvl 15. I believe its around lvl 12 right now.

anyway...thats my update :P
