It's a variation of Toir�asa which is an Irish/Celtic name that means Strength.

Earlier this week I had been reading about Storms of Fate and everything made me nervous and uncomfortable, like I usually get before a big battle. But I sucked it up and got my tail in gear.

Thanks to Cydori's organizational efforts and everyone's skills we took down Bahamut in no time. The fight felt so uneventful I wondered why I had been scared at all. I attribute our massive success to the very long stun order and skillful, well timed stuns.

Now I just need to get past the ZMs...

I got super lucky in dynamis tonight...

I had to wait outside for 30 minutes since I entered late on Thursday all the while hoping I wasn't missing anything. I entered and managed to find everyone with no problems. First NM drops a RDM hat followed by a whole lot of nothing. Not so surprising though. Xarcabard is notoriously stingy.

We make it past all the NMs and start the serious farming. I couldn't believe what good time we had made and then BAM! Summoner Horn drops. The only person lotting on SMN gear was absent thus making it a free lot. Lucky for me I rolled an uncontested 840ish lot. WOOOO! 2/5 baby! We keep going. Nothing nothing 100 piece nothing nothing Time extension nothing nothing and then... WAHPOW! Valor Surcoat drops.

Oh My God! I had the points. Lotted a masterful 45 and waited for it to drop into my inventory. I couldn't believe it. The two pieces I needed from Xarcabard and I got them in the same night. Plus that surcoat put me at 5/5 PLD.

Scion is the man for not only asking the Celebrant, Coureaunne, "Do you like pizza?" but he also asked about her favorite topping. :D

Tonight, Scion proposed marriage to Treasa. The answer was a very happy yes.

We plan to register for an official wedding, so we are uncertain as to when it will actually be. Details will be posted as we get them.

We have asked Cydori to be our Chaperone and she said yes. ^_^

As of right now, we plan to request Wednesday 10pm eastern/9pm central/7pm pacific as our time frame of choice. While it might not be the best day for everyone I know that Cydori and I are "always" around then. So here's hoping that will be a good time. Though the application is still not in.

Everyone in CTY is invited. Please comment if you plan to attend since the Chaperone is supposed to provide the number of guests. I'm guessing that is to make sure there is plenty of fireworks.

I'm very excited and extremely happy.

Finally finally finally! Ding Dong the Mammets are dead!

Linmayu and Soteria you did an amazing job tanking the trio. Nimbex I wasn't paying attention to your casting, but Squishi and Shadowneko GREAT job on liquidating them with {Tidal Wave}. I'm so excited. I managed to get of 3 waves!

I thought I got a screen cap but it didn't work.... Either way somehow we managed to get the clear record of 8 minutes and some seconds. Wow!

Anyway thank you all sooooooo much. My heart was racing but we did it!

It's time for me to stop angsting over being stuck on the mammets. So time to plan a mammet run!

I am proposing a Friday night. Start time ~8pm eastern (time adjustable). I figure that is early enough in the evening such that if the run goes bad we'll have enough time to do one more before people pass out.

Not having SMN too high yet, I am probably only well-suited for WHM/BLM or BLM/WHM. I'd prefer WHM. I can plan to be available either of those Fridays. I have at least one hi-potion tank to share, and will want to scare up some mulsum beforehand. (02/20 08:56)

Nimbex > I have had the opportunity to get together with my stepbrother on Friday, March 2nd, and I'd like to take it. I've seen him all of once in the past 6 months. So, unless there's a significant reason to do otherwise, I'd say to shoot for 3/9 instead of 3/2. Also, I'm of the mind that either we should be SMN-burn oriented (3 SMN, 1 PLD, whatever) or have people that can kite/solo mammets and go for that strategy. (02/26 12:10)
