This weekend was a mixed bag. There are 251 NMs running around now and that's both good and bad. So far I've only died to one of them, but that wasn't for lack of trying >.>a And I don't have much to show for it except for that Att+1 strap that the Funguar in Ronfa drops. I hit that NM every time I ran by it while turning in moat carp. Got a Burst for 1001dmg on it >.>b

Which brings me to the XPing part of the weekend. I'm about @10k to PLD67, which is good I think. I tried XPing BLM on Sunday and I'm about @11k to 71 there. The party I got wanted me to pull even though I told the leader that I didn't want to pull. I understand *why* she did (I was the only BLM who showed up with /NIN 9.9; ) but that doesn't change the fact that there's that fucking tree in the middle of the pull that changes how the Tiger paths. So it was an okay party minus the fact that I was losing 1.5k XP every 30-45 minutes z.z; And I wonder why my death count is well over 2000 now... /sigh

The only other invite I got was for a Dunes party. I don't want to sound like a picky elitist, but I've spent enough gil on BLM gear that I'm not going to sync myself down to level nothing where I'm more or less standing there nuking naked -.- I used to put 51+ in my /sea to indicate what my minimum was, but I quickly learned that people either can't read or don't give a damn. I realize that it's possible to have a nice, low level party (since I do that regularly), but the odds of it with randoms isn't great >.>; I'd rather just /fish or read or whatever and wait for a tastier offer to come around, even if it doesn't come around that day...

I'm under 350 moat carp to turn in for my Lu's. I'm excited (and somewhat obsessed) over that. I'm planning on having it done by Tuesday assuming I have to time to fish to fatigue on Monday >.>b After that I'll shift my focus to Shantotto. I have the farmed items for the first 3 synths now, thanks to Tharp tossing leftovers at me <3 I also want to get more serious about finishing up Tachi: Rana. My usual haunt for that has been hopping since the update, so I might have to find somewhere else to go >.>;

On Sunday a group of us helped Mert with Steel Cyclone WSNM. I think that was the only one I hadn't killed before. Now I just need to get off my tail and get WAR high enough to do it for myself. Afterward Mert went to Xarc and tripped over Biast, so Ren and I went out there to help him kill it. The helm dropped and Mert got it, congrats!
Sivara > My reasoning for leveling COR via level sync is very similar. I prefer 56+ so I can use Slug Shot and DD worth a crap. Otherwise, it's just a waste of time (though it does save me bullets to go below 56). (09/11/16 19:22)
Beanie > Yeah, at low levels, if I'm leading the party, I ask the COR if they just want to use Darts instead of bullets for pulling (like pre-40 levels). I know how depressing Marksman WS are before Slugshot x.x (09/11/16 21:24)
