Howtizer entered Dynamis - Bubu today with 18 people o.o That's a bit low for us, but the holidays are coming up and everything. Tal found the ??? on the beach and that was about the only thing that went smoothly at the start >.o (Well, at least from my perspective >.>; ) The first dragon (the one on the beach) ate me. The next one ate me too... Then Tal and Resh did the WHM Quadav pull, but it wasn't clean and 7 mobs followed them back to camp. We ended up wiping to them after the WHM was dead just to get the run going again. Then I died to the Heavy Stomp dragon... I didn't survive an encounter with a dragon until the Body Slam one >.>a How crazy is that?

Next up was the Mega Boss, but it took us a good 10 minutes to locate it and we'd gotten the 10 minute warning as it was being pulled. At that point we were up to 19 folks. You'd think it'd be a nail-biting fight, but we walked all over AB o.o; Half of us were dead by the end of it (oddly enough, not including me), but we've definitely had harder fights with more people along o.o; It was odd.

After all that excitement, the rest of the run was pretty cut and dry. We did Rarabs and got a NIN Belt (Hawk won lot). Then we did Cockatrices and had a BLM belt drop (Sylphia got it). We ended the run on Dhalmels where a WAR belt dropped and Demandred got it :3 We also got SCH -1 Hands that went to Drax.

Tal did an excellent job of pulling. We never had more then 4 bunnies. The one time we had more than 4 Cockas, it was planned. The only time we had a real link Tal brought back, like, 6 Dhalmels >.>; The run may've been short on folks, but it was pretty relaxing once we got past the time crunch of the dragons o.o

The only other thing I did today was work on merits / breaking my Windslicer. I know I've made progress because I've used 9 Raka pearl charges (Signal Pearl, old Tactic's Pearl, and a new Pearl I had on the RP), but it doesn't feel like it ;; Fortunately I can go quest a new Tactics Pearl in a few hours D: Gotta love stacking things up around the week change. At this rate I'll finish off RNG merits long before I get Tachi: Rana ._.
Demandred > I was surprised by the rocky start - but moreso surprised (and happily) about the WAR belt drop. :D It was well appreciated in Limbus today. The rest of the run went quite well, with about a reliv per mob type, which i think is good. :) (09/12/13 22:40)
